Ministers
| Monte joined our staff in December 2004, after serving the Lake Jackson Church of Christ as Deacon of Involvement. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and has since participated in a variety of ministry seminars.
Monte is the primary point of contact for (1) visitors who are interested in learning more about UCC, (2) new members who would like to find their place at the church, and (3) anyone wanting to discover and use their spiritual gifts. Monte also volunteers as one of UCC's worship leaders and is passionate about Financial Peace University. He coordinates the Faith and Finance ministry and is a certified financial counselor. Monte's wife, Suzanne, works for the Las Cruces Public Schools as a teacher. They have two daughters, Ashton, age 8, and Peyton, age 5.  DAVID HARRELSON Youth Minister | David has served as our youth minister since June, 1987. He oversees our junior high and high school outreach.
David completed a bachelor’s degree from Lubbock Christian University, and a master’s in ministry from Abilene Christian University. David and his wife, Beth, have three children: Josh, Caleb and Kari. For the latest details on the David and youth program, visit www.highvolt.com. |
| Greg and Tiffany joined us in January 2004, after having been highly involved in campus outreach with the Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock, Texas. He has studied at Texas Tech University, Sunset International Bible Institute and Bahnsen Theological Seminary.
